AMERICANISM & YOUTH
SUPPORTING OUR YOUTH
HOW WE SERVE
Veterans may choose to become members of the American Legion for various reasons. Firstly, the American
Legion provides a sense of camaraderie and support among fellow veterans, fostering a strong community of
individuals who have shared experiences and understand the challenges faced after military service. Secondly,
the organization offers valuable resources and assistance in areas such as healthcare, employment, education,
and housing. Lastly, the American Legion allows veterans to have a voice in advocating for veterans' rights
and issues, enabling them to actively contribute to the betterment of their community and country.
