CRUISERS

CLASSIC AMERICAN MUSCLE

HOW WE SERVE

American Legion Cruisers is not only the first Legion Cruisers chapter in the U.S. but it works to promote the programs and membership of the Legion, Sons and Auxiliary chapters of Post 116. We provide a social atmosphere and promote the causes and concerns of Veterans through car shows, parades, ceremonies, fundraisers and special events in the community.

The Cruisers share a common interest in classic cars and come together as a group in support of Post 116 goals and objectives. Club members display their classic cars and participate in other community service related activities such as fundraisers, parades and events to help support our Veterans and Community. The Cruisers also take their classic cars to extended care facilities such as nursing and rest homes when requested

THE AMERICAN LEGION CRUISERʼS MISSION:

  • Promote the programs and benefits of being a member of the American Legion
(AL) the Sons of the American Legion (SAL), and the Auxiliary (AUX)
  • Participate in parades, ceremonies, fund raisers, and other community activities to
increase public awareness of the AL, SAL, and AUX
  • Promote vehicle safety
  • Provide opportunities for AL, SAL, and AUX members to connect with other members who
have the same interest in classic vehicles
  • Engage with other Veteran organizations and groups that promote concerns and causes
    of Veterans
  • Host fundraisers and events to help support our Veterans and Community
